Browse Through Our FAQs

  • Why do I have to spray 4 times per year?
The weed control we use is not a preventative killer. It only kills the weeds that are growing at the time of the application. To keep the weeds under complete control, most people prefer to spray four times a year.

  • When should I water my lawn? When is it safe for pets and / or children?
We suggest waiting 12 hours to water the lawn after our application. It will be safe for both pets and children once it has dried. It normally takes an hour or less for drying to occur, depending on how hot it is on the day it was applied.

  • When can I mow my yard? How high should I mow?
For optimal results, we recommend you to wait for 24 to 48 hours before mowing. After the lawn has been sprayed, do not bag the clippings for 2 mowing cycles. You should keep your mowing blade height set to 2.5 to 3 inches.

  • What do I do with the plugs from the aeration?
You can mow over the lawn plugs. Eventually, they will disintegrate into the ground. It may take a few times of mowing for this to happen. If you wish, you have the option to rake them up.

  • What weeds will the weed killer control and not control?
With the correct amount of applications, our product will control a wide variety of broadleaf weeds, including dandelions, thistle, and clover. It will not control bent grass or tall fescue. Quack grass and crab grass are treated with separate pre and post-emergent spray applications.
